<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
When imaging close to the clamps with a Thermal 2 head, the clamps block the focus laser from
reaching the plate. The concept of a clamp shadow has been added so that focus is held during
those times.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
From measurements taken in the lab, there is no need for a clamp shadow at the trailing edge. However,
because of possible machine differences, and also the chance of having to image plates with punch
holes in the imagable area, the clamp shadow has been added to NVS.
